Rami Cassis has proven success growing companies ranging in size from $5m to $150m in revenue, leading transactions including reverse takeovers / IPO’s, and take-privates. Rami is an international operational investor specialising in lower mid-market companies, operating through Parabellum Investments, the company he leads and founded. The firm has offices in London, Frankfurt, Dubai, Singapore and Sydney, primarily deploys its own funds on long-term, operational investment strategies and has extensive experience and expertise in enterprise software and business services. It also operates in more specialist sectors such as banking and finance and oilfield services. Parabellum Investments has proven success growing from $5m to $150m in revenues and leading a variety of corporate transactions, such as reverse takeovers / IPO’s, take-private, plus the integration of companies their acquisitions. Current investments include Parseq, ieDigital, Razor Risk and advanco. Previously Rami has held a number of executive positions with corporations, including Chairman, CEO, COO, and Operations Director, and brings insight from this experience to the companies with which Parabellum Investments works. At various times a resident of Egypt, France, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Congo, Gabon, Angola, UAE, and England, Rami has conducted business in over 20 countries and holds French, British and Australian citizenships. He began his career with Schlumberger, working as Director of the Asian region and Director of Engineering Resourcing and Development for MEA and APAC. Subsequently, Rami had a brief consulting career, originally with KPMG prior to returning to line management at and later with Atos Origin, where he was director of IT Outsourcing for the firm in the UK. Rami holds degrees in Engineering Aerospace and Pure and Applied Mathematics, both gained at the University of New South Wales, Australia.
