Bio

Richard Berger is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer with experience in acquiring and consolidating firms, and also in rapidly rationalizing and trimming costs at acquired companies. Mr. Berger began his career at Avnet, Inc., the world’s largest distributor of electronic components, where he spent 16 years in positions of increasing responsibility and left as the Vice President - Finance of the $1 billion Electronic Marketing Division. Upon leaving Avnet, Mr. Berger was a private investor before joining with Palisades in 1992 to turn around Richey Electronics, where he served as Chief Financial Officer until the company’s sale in 1999. Mr. Berger received his BS degree in Finance from the University of California -Berkeley.
