Don is Vice President, Business Development and in this role is responsible for business development and institutional sales with public retirement plans, Taft-Hartley funds, endowments, religious pension plans, and consultants. Prior to joining Palisade Capital Management in 2016, Don served as Senior Vice President and Head of Institutional Relations at Pennant Management, Inc. In that role, Don was responsible for sales coverage of public and municipal retirement plans and investment consultants. Prior to Pennant, Don worked at ZieglerLotsoff Capital Management, where he was Senior VP for Institutional Marketing; Lee Munder Capital Group, where he was VP for Institutional Marketing and Client Services; and he owned his own consulting firm. Don also served as the Executive Director of the Michigan State Public Employees Retirement System. He received both his M.S. in Business Management and B.S. in Education from Western Illinois University.
