Martin Foreman is an Operating Director at Paine Schwartz Partners. Dr. Foreman has collaborated with Paine Schwartz Partners since 2009. Based in Melbourne, Australia, he leverages his Asia-Pacific insights and relationships to help identify and execute investment opportunities for the firm. Dr. Foreman has a BSc (Biology) from the University of Nottingham, a PhD in Plant Physiology from the University of Wales (UK), and was a Post-Doctoral fellow in the Department of Plant Sciences, Lincoln University, New Zealand. After Lincoln, he continued his career in agribusiness in New Zealand before spending 13 years with a multinational Fortune 500 industrial company in Asia-Pacific, holding country CEO positions including Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Dr. Foreman founded Crichton Capital & Advisory in 2008, a boutique firm focused on growing local private companies in the agritech and industrial sectors through direct equity participation.
