Bio

Ralph joined PAI in 2020 and heads PAI’s DACH Team. He has been involved in the Apleona investment. He previously worked at Knorr-Bremse, a world leading supplier to the commercial and rail vehicle industry, where he was CFO and member of the Executive Board. He led and executed the company’s initial public offering in 2018. During the previous ten years, he was CFO and member of the Executive Board of MDAX listed Dürr, a leading global mechanical and plant engineering firm. Prior to that Ralph was Managing Director, Partner and a member of the Management Committee at the Boston Consulting Group where he spent 17 years in various roles in Germany and helped build the firm’s operations in India. Ralph holds a ME degree in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen and an MBA from INSEAD. He is fluent in German and English.
