Bio

Denise joined PAI in 2022 as Head of ESG & Sustainability. She joined from The World Bank Group where she spent 11 years, mostly in the US and in France as well as the UK. She was the Head of Investor Relations & Sustainable Finance Coordination at the IFC where she led both the ESG Capital Markets Integration and Sustainable Finance Committees. Denise also served as the Chair of the global Green, Social and Sustainability-Linked Bond Principles Steering Committee under ICMA. She was named “Personality of the Year” by Environmental Finance Magazine in 2020. She started her career in the UK, working for global Financial Institutions (Goldman Sachs, GE Capital,…) in various capital market roles. Denise graduated from University of Bedfordshire (UK), was called to the Bar (England and Wales) at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. She holds an MBA Finance from Cornell University (USA) and a MSt Sustainability Leadership from Cambridge University (UK).
