Bio

Kyle is a founding partner of the firm and serves as the General Counsel of Paceline Equity Partners. Prior to forming Paceline, Kyle was most recently Managing Director with Hudson Advisors, L.P. (“Hudson”), an asset management affiliate of Lone Star Funds (“Lone Star”). In such capacity, Kyle was responsible for legal issues impacting operating companies that are affiliates of Lone Star within North America, as well as other corporate debt investments for which Hudson or its subsidiaries provided asset management services in North America. Previously, Kyle was Senior Vice President for Goldman Sachs Specialty Lending Group, an affiliate of Goldman, Sachs & Co., a position he held from 2005 to 2009. Prior thereto, Kyle was an attorney with Baker Botts L.L.P. and Thompson & Knight LLP, where he supported clients in various types of commercial banking transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private and public securities offerings and debt financing transactions. Kyle also served as a member of the board of directors of Continental Building Products, Inc. (NYSE: CBPX), Forterra, Inc. (Nasdaq: FRTA), Foundation Building Materials, Inc. (NYSE: FBM), and Caliber Home Loans, Inc., as well as a number of other companies. Kyle graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management (with honors) and a Juris Doctor degree from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University (magna cum laude).
