Mr. Young is a Managing Director based in OpenGate Capital’s Los Angeles office where he oversees software and technology-related M&A / transaction execution. Mr. Young joined OpenGate in 2018 and is a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to OpenGate, Mr. Young was an investment professional at Marlin Equity Partners. During his ten years at Marlin, Mr. Young served as a member of that firm’s lower middle market investment funds. Mr. Young earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.
