Tanya Carmichael is based in Toronto and leads the Global Funds team for Ontario Teachers'. She has extensive experience in private equity fund investing and represents Ontario Teachers' on numerous limited partner advisory committees. Tanya has previously served as Chair of the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA) board of directors and on the Private Equity Steering Committee of the Principles of Responsible Investment. Before joining Ontario Teachers' in 2006, she was an executive director in CIBC World Markets' private equity funds group. Tanya received a BA (Honours) from Queen's University and an LLB from Western University. She holds the ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
