J.B. Cherry joined OEP in 2003 and is a Partner based in Chicago and a member of the Investment Committee and Operating Committee. During his tenure at OEP, Mr. Cherry worked on numerous investments as part of OEP’s Industrials Practice. Mr. Cherry is a member of the Board of Directors of Wood Technologies, and OMNI. Mr. Cherry’s prior investment experience includes Anvil International, Allied, Chemlogics, Columbian Chemicals, ePak, Faurecia (EMCON), GlobalPack, Grupo Phoenix, Intren, LBC, Progress Rail, Precision Gear, and Resolute Industrial. Prior to joining OEP, Mr. Cherry worked at Bank One Ventures evaluating strategic technology investments for Bank One Corporation. Mr. Cherry received his M.B.A. from Northwestern’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business and his B.A. in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.
