Bio

Reena joined OMERS in 2003. Effective June 1, 2018, she assumed the role of EVP, Investment Finance & Valuations, leading the finance and valuation activities for Infrastructure, Private Equity and Platform Investments. Reena previously served as OMERS Global Head of Assurance and Advisory from November 2015 to May 2018. Prior to this, Reena led the investment finance team serving the Infrastructure and Private Equity businesses in activities that supported accounting and valuations, in addition to strategic planning, risk management, treasury, debt and tax compliance. She has also served on a number of committees with OMERS investments, including the audit committees of Bruce Power, Teranet Inc. and LifeLabs. Reena holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business, York University. She is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Business Valuator and a Chartered Director. Reena is currently a member of Cymbria Corporation’s Board of Directors and chairs its Audit Committee.
