Mr. Zaumeyer joined Odyssey Investment Partners in 2009 as a Principal and was promoted to Managing Principal in 2015. Since joining, Mr. Zaumeyer has been responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring investments in a variety of sectors including aerospace, defense, safety products and general industrials. In addition, Mr. Zaumeyer currently serves as Head of Business Development for Odyssey, leading the firm’s new investment origination efforts. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Zaumeyer was a principal at DLJ Merchant Banking Partners, where he focused on sourcing, executing and monitoring private equity investments in aerospace & defense, general industrials and oil & gas sectors. Prior to joining DLJ Merchant Banking Partners, he worked in the Investment Banking Divisions of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse from 2000 to 2005, where he focused on financing and advisory services for financial sponsor clients. A native of New York, Mr. Zaumeyer earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia University.
