Before joining Odewald & Compagnie in 2000, Prof. Ernst-Moritz Lipp, Co-Head, was a member of the management board of Dresdner Bank AG, as well as being a member of its investment banking management board, where he was responsible for the global corporate finance business. Before taking up his management board role, Prof. Lipp was chief economist at Dresdner Bank, as well as responsible for the international lending business in London, Luxembourg and Frankfurt. He started his career as General Secretary of the German Council of Economic Experts. Prof. Lipp obtained a degree in economics and modern history at Cambridge University, United Kingdom, and in Saarbrücken, Germany, before going on to complete his doctorate. He has taught as a professor at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, since 1985, has been a guest lecturer at the INSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau, France, and has held supervisory board mandate at several German and international companies. He is married and has a daughter. At Odewald & Compagnie he has been responsible to date for the investments in TFL, Süddekor, BOA, Zehnacker, OYSTAR, walter services, Oberberg and SCHOLPP. Prof. Lipp commands special sector knowledge in the area of the metalworking industry, mechanical engineering, healthcare and financial service-providers.
