Bio

Mr. Karidi is a member of the Portfolio Transformation Team and specializes in driving commercial and operational performance improvement initiatives, including turnarounds, collaboratively with management teams. Before joining Oaktree in 2018, he was a general manager at United States Steel, president and CEO of Alasko Foods and senior director of pricing and operational strategy at U.S. Foods. Prior thereto, he was an engagement manager for McKinsey & Company where he served companies in the industrial, agricultural, chemical, technology and logistics sectors. Earlier in his career, Mr. Karidi served as an attorney focused on corporate, labor and real estate law. Additionally, Mr. Karidi served in the Israel Defense Forces, Intelligence Corps. Mr. Karidi currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Array. He received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and an LL.B. and a B.A from Tel-Aviv University.
