Bio

Mr. Adler is the head of business development for Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group, which executes the Power Opportunities investment strategy. He is responsible for leading the team’s investment origination strategy and related activities. Prior to joining Oaktree in 2018, Mr. Adler was a founder and principal with Pacific Generation Partners where he pursued investment opportunities and provided strategic consulting in the energy, infrastructure, and business services industries. Previously, Mr. Adler was a vice president with Riverstone Holdings, a private equity firm focused on the energy and power industries. He began his career in the energy industry in 2004 at UBS Investment Bank where he was an analyst in the Global Energy Group. Mr. Adler received a B.S. in foreign service from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, where he was a Venture Fellow.
