Bio

Valero joined Oakley in 2021 and has over 15 years of principal investing, M&A and operational experience. Valero’s focus at Oakley is primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice. Valero started his investing career in 2008 at the private equity team of 3i Group before moving to JP Morgan to develop the European market for Highbridge, their alternative investments fund. In 2016, he joined Charme Capital Partners, where he participated in a wide variety of private equity deals and established the Madrid office. Valero holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York, as well as an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Granada after being awarded a full grant to study at the University of California, Irvine (USA).
