Bio

David joined Oakley in 2013 and has over 21 years of private equity investment and finance experience. David is a member of the Investment Committee. He leads on deal origination, execution, portfolio management in the Education sector for the Origin fund, Oakley’s lower mid-market strategy. During his time at Oakley, he has worked on a number of investments including Vice Golf, Seedtag, ACE Education, North Sails, Daisy and Inspired. Prior to joining Oakley, David co-founded and was COO of a SaaS internet start-up. Prior to this, he worked at Morgan Stanley in London before moving to to Candover, where he was an Investment Director. He started his career at Credit Suisse’s Principal Transaction Group in 1998 in New York and London. David holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD Business School in France/Singapore, and an MA in Law from Pembroke College, Oxford.
