Shawn Lederman is a Principal with NRD Capital. Mr. Lederman has over 17 years of private equity, finance, and consulting experience in strategic planning, corporate revitalization, turnarounds, and M&A. Prior to joining NRD, Mr. Lederman worked as a Director on the Private Equity Team at Highland Capital Management, L.P. In this capacity, Mr. Lederman was involved with all aspects of the firm's investment process, including sourcing new opportunities, leading due diligence, negotiation and financing, supporting operations, planning and integration of successful acquisitions, portfolio monitoring, and Board governance. Previously, Mr. Lederman was a Vice President at Buccino & Associates, Inc., a middle market consulting firm that specialized in working with troubled companies. In his role, Mr. Lederman was involved with the assessment, reorganization and recapitalization of companies in the manufacturing, healthcare, food, and retail industries. Prior to joining Buccino, Mr. Lederman was a Consultant at Putnam, Hayes, & Bartlett and later Charles River Associates, Inc. In these roles, Mr. Lederman worked on behalf of major electric utility companies, evaluating their strategic alternatives in a deregulating environment, analyzing merger and acquisition candidates, and assessing the market value of electric generating and transmission assets. Mr. Lederman earned his M.B.A. from New York University's Stern School of Business with distinction and received his B.S. in Finance and International Management from Boston University where he graduated summa cum laude.
