Bio

Brian joined NPX Capital in 2018. Before this, he started his education career in Korea in 2005 working at Chungdahm Learning. After spending seven years with Chungdahm in management, training, curriculum development, and teaching, he started a language consulting company and developed and implemented his own tech, such as an Oral Proficiency Interview speaking tutor, into his programs. In 2016, Brian moved to Shanghai, China to take charge of training systems and project management at New Pathway Education, again designing and implementing a tech solution to help streamline training and HR for a merger between EIC Education and New Pathway. Returning to Korea, Brian became a senior director and CTO at NP Equity Partners and assisted in managing three edtech portfolio companies. He eventually moved to Vietnam to expand his startup, Steamology, from which he and his co-founders made their latest exit. Brian graduated from Carleton University with a major in Computer Science.
