Bio

Guy Petrelli, Partner, has over 28 years of investment experience and is a member of the Investment Committee at NovaQuest Private Equity. He is responsible for transaction origination, investment policy, fundraising, investor relations and the day-to-day management of the NovaQuest Private Equity business. In addition, he directs the private equity team in acquisitions, divestitures and oversight of portfolio companies. Prior to joining NovaQuest, Mr. Petrelli was Partner and Investment Committee member at Silverfleet Capital, a private equity firm headquartered in London that focused on middle-market, control oriented investments across multiple sectors and geographies, including a dedicated healthcare platform. In that role, he was responsible for the firm’s US efforts, including identifying potential investments and managing and exiting US based portfolio companies and working with the firm’s European offices on their respective responsibilities. He also held board seats while at the firm. Prior to Silverfleet, Mr. Petrelli was Partner and Investment Committee member at PPM America Capital Partners, the US based private equity group of Prudential, plc. In that role, he identified, managed and exited investments in a variety of industries, including healthcare and general industrial sectors. He started his career at GE Capital Corporation working in the corporate finance / leverage group where he focused on buyout transactions. Mr. Petrelli received an MBA from DePaul University and a BA from Illinois Wesleyan University.
