Martin Lavallée brings more than 20 years of Business Valuation, Corporate Financing & Investment Banking experience to Novacap. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.A.A.), Finance and Economy from HEC Montréal and a Master of Science in Administration (M. Sc.) from the Université de Sherbrooke. Mr. Lavallée is a member of the ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (CPA, CGA) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Mr. Lavallée was an Associate-Director at the head office of Bell Canada – BCE where he held different positions in Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions and Risk Management. Prior to that, Martin worked in the Insurance Industry, for the Guarantee Insurance, a leader in specialty insurance and surety within the North American market, where he held a position in risk management in the bonding department. Mr. Lavallée joined Novacap in 2007. Mr. Lavallée is a member of the Boards of Directors of Smyth , Pipp Mobile Storage Systems, and Multy Home and an observer on the Board of Directors of Joseph Ribkoff. Mr. Lavallée was previously a member of the Board of Directors of the Laces Group, the Noble Foods and the Greenwood and an observer on the Board of Directors of Multibar.
