Mr Mancini obtained a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Concordia University as well as a Bachelors of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from McGill University. Mr Mancini is also a Chartered Accountant. (CPA,CA). Mr. Mancini has enjoyed a successful career, spanning more than four decades, in both senior operating and financial roles. He joined Novacap in 2005. Previously Mr. Mancini was Senior Vice-President of Operations and General Manager for Transcontinental Printing Inc. Prior to Transcontinental Mr.Mancini held the dual roles of Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President of Operations in each of the following companies.CFCF Inc. Spartan Canada Inc. and Laidlaw Waste Systems Ltd. Mr. Mancini is a Chartered Accountant and worked as a Senior Manager for Deloitte Haskins and Sells. Mr Mancini is the Chairman of the Board of Smyth Labels and Joseph Ribkoff and a director of GTI. Previously Mr. Mancini was the Chairman of the Board of each of the following portfolio companies, Metro Supply, Rosmar Packaging, Multibar, Idaho Pacific, Enviro-Virids, Mucci Farms, Noble Foods and Hallcon. Mr. Mancini has also Chaired “Private Equity Investing in Packaging Companies “ and “Private Equity Investing in Food and Beverage companies “ at the Capital Round Table in New York.
