Prior to joining NMP in 2008, John spent 10 years at Piper Jaffray & Co. in a variety of senior level roles. Most recently, he was a managing director and head of financial sponsors, focused on establishing and developing relationships with private equity firms. Prior to that role he worked as a senior banker within the middle market M&A group, as well as having responsibility for all investment banking activities within the transportation equipment & services industry team. John also worked at Norwest Bank (now Wells Fargo) in several capacities, including arranging private placements for companies in a variety of industries and restructuring troubled assets in the bank’s portfolio.
