William leads the distribution of Northleaf’s private market products to the US insurance market. Prior to joining Northleaf in 2023, William was a Director in the Financial Institutions Group at BlackRock where he was responsible for providing asset management and advisory solutions to insurance companies. Previously, he was a Vice President of Investor Relations at Sun Capital Partners, a US private equity firm specializing in leveraged buyouts. Prior to that, William was a Vice President on the Insurance Asset Management team at Goldman Sachs where he was responsible for new business development and ongoing client relations for insurance investors. Prior to his financial services career, William served with the 75th Ranger Regiment, the U.S. Army’s premier special operations force. William received a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University.
