Buck is a founder and Managing Partner at NorthCurrent Partners. Before NorthCurrent, Buck was a Vice President in the LBO Fund of H.I.G. Capital, an investment firm with $34B under management, where Buck focused on business services and consumer investments and served on the board of Tastes on the Fly. Prior to H.I.G. Capital, Buck was a Director at Burch Creative Capital, a family office, where he focused on growth investments in the technology and consumer sectors and served on the board of Nihi Sumba Resorts. Buck began his career as an investment banking analyst at JPMorgan, providing advisory services and capital structure solutions to companies across industries. Buck earned a B.A. in History and Economics from Williams College and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Palmer Scholar. Buck is also an early investor in Caviar (acquired by Square (NYSE:SQ)) and a general partner in Greene Manor, a multifamily apartment complex in Philadelphia.
