Bob formed McGuire Capital Advisors (MCA) in 2018, a capital advisory firm that is committed to helping affiliated partners navigate the ever-changing capital markets. Mr. McGuire has broad industry experience with a successful track record over the past 40 years. MCA offers solutions based on past experiences including complex debt capital markets, special situation restructurings, buy side and sell side advisory, and private equity investing. In 2016 Mr. McGuire co-founded North Park Capital Partners (NPCP), a special situation investment firm that focuses on investing primarily in rustbelt companies whereby NP can provide decades of experience in challenging situations to unlock substantial upside potential. Prior to founding McGuire Capital Advisors, in 2005 Mr. McGuire was one of the founding partners of 3 Rivers Capital (3RC), a Pittsburgh based private equity firm that focuses on controlled acquisition of small businesses with EBITDA between $3-$10 Million. Bob transitioned in April 2018 from an active partner to a partner focused on advisory role for the existing portfolios. Prior to 2005 Mr. McGuire spent over 25 years working for major financial institutions, including Bank of America, GE capital, and JP Morgan. While at these institutions he led development of new markets in the Midwest that generated over $2 Billion in transactions across a wide variety of industries, primarily in the areas of metals, mining and automotive. He currently serves as a director of Pat Tank, Rhodes Manufacturing, AGS, All American Hose, Tomanetti Food Product, and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) Pittsburgh chapter. Bob's interest includes running, skiing, biking, sailing, but most of all Bob enjoys his family, friends and running partner Sugar.
