John joined NMP in August 2015 and supports the firm’s investments in software and information technology companies. John currently serves on the board of Ekos, Malbek, PlexTrac and Voxie, and as a board observer for several portfolio companies, including MacStadium and Red Canary. John was previously a board observer for TrendKite (sold to Cision Ltd.) and FSLogix (sold to Microsoft). Prior to joining NMP, John served as an Associate on the Investment Team at Marlin Equity Partners, a global private equity firm with $ 6.7 billion of capital under management that specializes in investing in technology companies. Previously, he worked at Harris Williams & Co., a middle-market investment bank focused on M&A. John received a BS in Systems Engineering and a MS in Commerce from the University of Virginia, where he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.
