James Wilson has been a Partner with NMS since its formation in 2010. Prior to joining NMS, Mr. Wilson was a Partner and Senior Vice President for HWP. While at HWP, Mr. Wilson held the titles of Senior Vice President (from 2002 to 2010) and Vice President (from 1998 to 2002). During his 12-year tenure at HWP, Mr. Wilson was responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, overseeing the firm’s due diligence activities and monitoring the firm’s investments. Mr. Wilson was also responsible for the financial reporting, tax, and investor communications for the firm and its affiliates. Between 1994 and 1998, Mr. Wilson served as a Manager in the finance and accounting department of Coca-Cola Enterprises, and from 1990 to 1994 worked at KPMG LLP, where he specialized in the consumer products and energy business lines, and was appointed senior accountant in 1993. From 1989 to 1990, Mr. Wilson was a credit analyst at Bank One Corporation. Mr. Wilson is a member of the Board of Directors of Geoscape, ADM, and Avaap and was formerly a Board member of MCCI. Mr. Wilson is active on charitable boards having previously served on the Board of Trustees for The Covenant School of Dallas, and for Harvesters Reaching the Nations, an orphanage and school serving the people of South Sudan. Mr. Wilson graduated from Baylor University with a B.B.A. in 1989.
