Sachin joined NewQuest in 2017 and is responsible for sourcing, execution and portfolio management of investments in India, with a focus on consumer-related sectors and works closely with the senior management of the Frim's portfolio companies to accelerate value creation and realization. Sachin has 20 years of consulting and operating experience. Most recently, he was a leader at Bain & Company’s consumer practice in India where he advised owners, CXOs, and PE funds on strategy, operations, organization, M&A, marketing & sales and profit improvement. He has consulted both Indian and multinational companies ranging from early-stage growth to Fortune 500. Prior to consulting, Sachin worked with Hindustan Unilever for five years across marketing and sales. Sachin received an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta where he was awarded the Institute’s Roll of Honor for academic excellence. He also holds an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. Sachin is fluent in English and Hindi.
