Mamtesh joined NewQuest in 2014 and is responsible for sourcing, execution and portfolio management of investments across India and Southeast Asia. Mamtesh leads execution teams and has a particular focus on performing detailed fundamental analyses. Mamtesh has in-depth experience in the financial services and industrials industries in India. Prior to joining NewQuest, Mamtesh was an investment banking analyst with J.P. Morgan’s India team based in Mumbai. Mamtesh has also worked as a banker at RBS and a consultant with PwC. Mamtesh has an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta, where he was awarded a silver medal for his performance, and has an undergraduate degree in engineering from IIT Dhanbad. Mamtesh is fluent in English and Hindi.
