John Kline, Managing Director, joined New Mountain Capital in 2008. Mr. Kline is primarily dedicated to New Mountain’s credit business and serves as NMFC’s President and Chief Operating Officer and co-portfolio manager of the private credit strategies. Prior to joining New Mountain, he worked at GSC Group from 2001 to 2008 as an Investment Analyst and Trader for GSC’s control distressed and corporate credit funds. From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Kline was with Goldman where he worked in the Credit Risk Management and Advisory Group. Mr. Kline currently sits on the board of Unitek Global Services, a current NMFC portfolio company. Mr. Kline graduated from Dartmouth College, with an A.B. degree in History in 1999.
