James Outland is a founding partner of New Capital Partners and has over 25 years of private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and business development leadership experience in both entrepreneurial business ventures and well-established corporations. Prior to co-founding New Capital Partners, James served in various key roles in the healthcare industry and as an officer of UnitedHealth Group after its acquisition of Complete Health Services. James currently serves portfolio companies as Chairman of the Board for Collect Rx, Repay Holdings, Sequence Health, Medsurant Holdings and P&R Dental, and as a Board Member of Teladoc Medical Services. James also served as the CEO for Senior Whole Health during its first year of operations, in addition to his role as Chairman of the Board. James previously served as a Board Member of former portfolio companies: Awarix, which sold to McKesson (NYSE:MCK); Senior Whole Health, which sold to TA Associates; and, Prism Pointe Technologies, which sold to Systems Maintenance Services, Inc. James is active in the Birmingham community and currently serves on the Board of the Trustees for the Birmingham Museum of Art, the Board of Innovation Depot and the Board of Children’s Harbor. James earned a BA in Political Science and a BFA in Advertising from Southern Methodist University.
