Mr. Brown co-founded MVP in 1985. Mr. Brown has been active in the private equity business for over thirty years and was instrumental in the establishment of the private equity/venture capital industry in the Philadelphia area. Prior to MVP, Mr. Brown was a principal in a merchant banking firm active in private equity. He began his professional career with Arthur Andersen. Following Andersen, he joined Buckeye Pipeline Company, a subsidiary of The Penn Central Corporation, as a financial analyst. After Buckeye, Mr. Brown practiced corporate tax law at the firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Philadelphia. Mr. Brown has served on numerous corporate boards, and presently serves as Chairman of ANI Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ANIP) and director of York Risk Services Group, American Bath Group and Planalytics, as well as several others. Mr. Brown is a graduate of Princeton University, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and the Law School of the University of Pennsylvania.
