Kara Goodloe Bio

Ms. Goodloe has over 16 years of accounting experience, with a concentration in the oil and gas industry. Most recently, Ms. Goodloe served as Corporate Controller for a start-up oil and gas company with over $4 billion in assets. She was instrumental in building out the accounting organization, including developing processes and procedures. She led the corporate accounting function that included technical accounting issues, financial reporting, oil and gas fixed assets and all other corporate accounts. She also led the technical accounting and policy function, which included issues surrounding equity based compensation and accounting for debt and equity instruments. Prior to that, Ms. Goodloe was a partner at Ernst & Young LLP. She served public and private companies ranging in size from Fortune 100 to middle market; primarily in the audit service line. She was heavily involved in public and private equity and debt offerings. She also spent three years in Ernst & Young’s US Professional Practice Group in New York City. Ms. Goodloe is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University.
