Bio

Vimal leads the establishment and management of the firm's renewable energy platforms and acquisition of power and renewable energy assets. He has a 25 year career in renewables and power and has previously held roles as an originator and investor in private equity and investment banking in Europe, the US, Australia and New Zealand. Vimal has seven years of consulting experience while at Ernst & Young and PWC, and spent six years in investment management focused on new energy opportunities for Centrica Energy in the UK. He has served on multiple boards of directors and is currently a Director of Galileo in Europe and Chair of Gurīn Energy in Asia. Vimal holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Otago. He is admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
