Bio

Rebecca joined in 2022 as Head of Compliance, with responsibility for compliance across the firm's global operations. She is also the Privacy Officer. Rebecca started her career in private legal practice in Wellington. Prior to joining Morrison & Co, Rebecca spent nine years with the ANZ Bank New Zealand working in operational risk and compliance. Rebecca is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals Australia and New Zealand Advisory Board and a contributing author to the 3rd edition of Privacy Law in New Zealand. Rebecca holds a LLB/BA from Victoria University of Wellington and a LLM from Columbia University. New York, which she attended as a Fulbright Scholar and a recipient of the Yvonne AM Smith Scholarship.
