Bio

Simona has over 15 years of experience in Finance, Strategy and M&A roles in Bucharest, Paris and London. Having worked over 10 years in London in Corporate Development roles in 2 leading companies in their field, more recently as EMEA and MAR deal lead for Thomson Reuters, Simona brings to the table significant experience in strategy, executing deals, valuing companies within information services, healthcare and technology business models, and origination. During her career, she completed over 20 transactions and screened over 60 potential targets, and demonstrated a solid track record in building effective partnerships with the sellers. In addition to the M&A experience, Simona had 2 more operational roles, being in charge with comparing outsourcing offers for major restructuring programme and with evaluating new product development business cases in Thomson Reuters. She started her career with PwC in audit and transaction services and qualified with ACCA. Simona holds a BA in International Relations from Al. I. Cuza University and an MBA degree from London Business School.
