Bio

Michael Luce began his career with Meier and Frank, a May Company department store in Portland, Oregon. He then joined Eddie Bauer Inc. a specialty retailer in Seattle, Washington. After the sale of Bauer to The Spiegel Group, Mr. Luce founded Garden Botanika, a specialty retailer of personal care and cosmetic products, which went public in 1995. After leaving Garden Botanika he began a private consulting practice and then joined Brookstone Inc. as President and CEO of its Gardeners Eden division. Mr. Luce holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College and an M.B.A from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
