David is the Partner responsible for overseeing all activities related to Monomoy’s debt investing strategies. David is also, at six feet five inches, the second tallest member of the Monomoy team (see Kevin Vance), but he still can’t dunk a basketball (not even close). Prior to joining Monomoy, David was a Managing Director at H.I.G. Bayside Capital, where he focused on credit opportunities across a range of industries. Previously, he was co-head of the distressed debt investment team at GSC Group; and a junior investment professional in Blackstone’s private equity practice. Throughout his career, David has played a significant role on the creditor committees and boards of public and private corporations. In addition to his athletic prowess, David is a serious fan of all things James Bond. He has read everything ever written by Ian Fleming and he has seen every Bond movie ever made (even the Timothy Dalton films). David graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics.
