David is the former SVP of the New Ventures Group and Head of Corporate Strategy at Coinstar/Redbox, where he was responsible for all early-stage investing, incubation of new concepts, and M&A for the company. In his 6 year tenure, he grew the New Ventures Group from $0 to $75 mm invested, and ultimately into 7 portfolio companies, which all reported directly into him. He is currently the VP of Innovation, and the Head of Retail & Gift Businesses at World’s Finest Chocolate, a Consumer Food company based in Chicago. Prior to Redbox, David was a consultant with Bain & Company. David received his MBA from Kellogg’s School of Management at Northwestern University, and his BBA from the University of Michigan.
