Bio

Rory is Chairman of MML Capital Partners. Rory has led investments into and served as a director of numerous MML portfolio companies including BPC, Ferembal, Sicli, Century Inns, Eurofarad, Polestar, Xtreme, GlobeOp and Hawkpoint. Prior to co-founding MML Rory spent 13 years at the Bank of Boston of which nine years were in the United States where he served various areas of corporate lending and investing. Rory holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Manchester. He funded the UK’s first chair in Enterprise there in 2001. In 2005 he became the principal benefactor of the Brooks World Poverty Institute and in 2010 was awarded an honorary doctorate. He was awarded the CBE in 2015 for his services to Philanthropy.
