Jim co-founded MML in London in 1988. Jim is, or has been, a Director or Chairman of over a dozen portfolio companies in Europe and the U.S. He currently represents MML on the boards of three companies. He is Chairman of the New York Pops Symphony Orchestra which performs in Carnegie Hall and is the largest independent pops orchestra in the U.S. He actively supports a number of initiatives to help learning disabled children, and co-founded an open website to assist dyslexic children and adults. Jim is originally from Pittsburgh, lived in London for 13 years, and now lives in Greenwich, Connecticut. He holds a BA from the University of Michigan and an MBA in finance from the University of Pittsburgh. He is married and has two daughters.
