Mark Cirilli leads MissionPoint’s overall strategy and chairs the firm’s investment committee. In addition, Mark serves as the Managing Director and is the chair of the investment committee for MissionPoint Capital Partners, an affiliated private equity firm he cofounded that specializes in clean energy and financing the transition to a low carbon economy. Mark has led investments in and helped build a wide range of transformational, impact-driven businesses including Hannon Armstrong (NYSE ticker: HASI), Voltaix (sold to Air Liquide), SunEdison (sold to MEMC), Recommunity (sold to Republic), and Aerofarms. In addition, Mark is a Co-founder of Capshift a turnkey impact investment management platform aimed at enabling the $120b Donor Advised Fund to access the impact investment market. Mark sits on a number of private impact-driven company boards and serves on a number of investment committees, including chairing the investment committee for an impact focused private family office. Prior to forming MissionPoint, Mark served as Chief Investment Officer of Marshall Street Management, a private family office of an impact investment pioneer, Jesse Fink. Mark was also with Coopers & Lybrand’s Financial Advisory Services Group where he provided due diligence and transactions services support to Fortune 500 Companies’ mergers and acquisitions activities. Mark earned an MBA with Distinction from Columbia University and a BA in Accounting and Economics from Fordham University.
