Orestes Tarajano is a Partner and the Head of Business Development of Mill Point Capital. Prior to joining Mill Point in 2023, Mr. Tarajano was a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group within the Investment Banking division at Citigroup where he worked with Private Equity firms across various industries such as Industrials, Business Services, Technology, Consumer/Food & Beverage and Healthcare, and across products such as M&A/Strategic Advisory and Debt and Equity financings. Prior to Citigroup, Mr. Tarajano worked in the Investment Banking divisions at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse and RBC Capital Markets. During his multi-decade career in Investment Banking, Mr. Tarajano worked on hundreds of both private and public transactions, lead the identification and idea generation of investment opportunities and established and cultivated strong relationships with senior executives and investment professionals. Mr. Tarajano earned a B.S. in Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
