Dave has over twenty-five years of mezzanine and private equity experience in addition to nine years of middle-market lending experience. Prior to founding Midwest in 1992, Dave originated and managed mezzanine and equity investments for Kleinwort Benson Limited and the KB Mezzanine Fund. Prior to joining Kleinwort, Dave originated leveraged transactions for GE Capital and Harris Trust and Savings Bank (now BMO Harris Bank). Dave serves or has served as a Director of Capco, RP Lighting + Fans, Peltram Plumbing, and The Cleaning Guys.Dave received his MBA in Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and earned a BS in Finance from Miami University (Ohio). Dave has been involved in coaching youth sports, Boy Scouts, the Chicago Lights Tutoring Program and is on the Advisory Board of the Symposium on Mezzanine and Middle Market Finance.
