Bio

Giovanni is a Partner of the firm and member of the Investment Committee. He also oversees the firm’s origination effort. Prior to founding Metric Capital Partners, Giovanni was at Barclays Capital in London where he held primary coverage and transaction origination responsibilities over a variety of European and Middle Eastern private equity firms. Prior to joining Barclays Capital, he was a Director in the Leveraged Finance and Debt Advisory group of UBS Investment Bank, based in London, where he oversaw the group’s activities in Southern Europe, Middle East and South Africa covering the entire spectrum of leveraged products (loans, bonds and mezzanine) as well as debt and restructuring advisory. Giovanni holds a Laurea (magna cum laude) in Economics from “Universita’ Federico II” and an MBA from IESE Business School. He speaks English, Italian, Spanish and Danish.
