Bio

Mr. Torralba joined Meridia Capital in September 2015. He is responsible for implementing the private equity business strategy, with a focus on origination, deal execution, portfolio management and exit. Prior to joining Meridia Capital, he was a Principal at Doughty Hanson, a €3.2bn London-based European private equity group, where he worked for almost nine years mainly focusing on deals in Spain. Amongst others, he was involved in the acquisition, management and disposal of Grupo Hospitalario Quirón (renowned Spanish private hospital group) and Grupo Avanza (leading Spanish bus transport operator). Prior to that he was an Associate at JPMorgan M&A in London where he worked within the Industrials and TMT groups and in Madrid within the Spanish M&A team. Mr. Torralba holds a double degree in Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (ETSEIB) and Ecole Centrale Paris.
