Gijs loves changes and challenges, but also details and perfection. Things can always be done better. He started at Heineken to gain experience in the hospitality market. He unexpectedly came into contact with the investment world: make companies more successful himself or to steer them towards a more viable situation. These experiences and a certain amount of reflection prompted him to set up Mentha. Entrepreneurship, operational experience and investment came together and still are a strong element in Mentha's DNA. His heart is with the team and with the companies.
