He has a track record of successfully raising funds across the entire capital structure during periods of rapid change in the macroeconomic environment and raised over $1 billion for companies, significantly increasing value and providing growth to enterprises through all types of economic climates. Medina is also the founder and chairman of the board of eMerge Americas, the premier B2B technology event connecting the U.S., Latin America, and Europe. He has been recognized with accolades from many business and community organizations for his leadership and community service. He is a frequent speaker on topics ranging from technology trends and global business to entrepreneurship and has served as a panelist and keynote speaker at large conferences and IT industry tradeshows. He also delivers inspiring commencement addresses to students at colleges and universities.
