Jeff is one of the founding partners of MedEquity Capital. Jeff has significant experience with multi-site, physician-oriented business models as well as technology-enabled healthcare service businesses. Jeff has deep operating experience, having served as the CEO and Chairman of AppleCare Immediate Care which was the leading operator of urgent care centers in South and middle Georgia. Jeff also served as the CEO of Tristan Medical, an operator of primary care and urgent care centers in Massachusetts and has held other active roles at MedEquity’s investment companies including CFO and development officer. Jeff is currently a Director of Tristan Medical, Interior Resources, and Qler Telepsych, and the Executive Chairman of Riverside Oral Surgery Management. Prior to joining MedEquity, Jeff was a Vice President in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group of PaineWebber Incorporated. While at PaineWebber, he executed over $4 billion in financing and merger and acquisition advisory transactions for a broad range of companies across the healthcare services and life sciences sectors. Prior to joining PaineWebber, he was a Vice President of Acadian Asset Management, a quantitative international equity investment management firm in Boston. Jeff is a graduate of Colby College and the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the CFA Institute. While not working, Jeff enjoys skiing, sailing, playing platform tennis, and working on old cars.
